Behind the Art
Among the Tetons was such a fun and playful painting for me to create. I tried to embody the feeling of soaring over the mountains on a summer day with blue skies, puffy clouds, and jaw-dropping scenery. I used to go on sight seeing flights with my father when I was younger so this scene brought back tons of fond memories for me! This painting was a commission piece that one of my college friends asked me to do for a prominent customer at her flight school. I absolutely love when my clients allow me to create sentimental gifts for their friends and family— this is why I started painting in the capacity that I do!
